An Air Handling Unit (AHU) is a large, central piece of equipment in an HVAC system that regulates and circulates air throughout a building. Often acting as the "lungs of HVAC system, it draws in outside air, filters out pollutants, adjusts the temperature and humidity, and distributes it via ductwork.
A Building Management System (BMS) is a centralized,computer-based control system that automates, monitors, and manages a facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure. It functions as a building's digital nervous system, seamlessly integrating HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety to maximize energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
A Building Area Cooling (BAC) is a centralized HVAC setup that produces and circulates cold water to cool buildings or industrial equipment. It works via a refrigeration cycle by absorbing heat from a space, transferring it to the water, and rejecting that heat outside.
